The Notation Studies

Surface and mark. Each piece in The Notation Studies starts with a color field — sometimes warm, sometimes dark, sometimes washed out entirely — and builds from there. Grids, scattered points, fine scratches, loose lines. Some read like star charts. Others like graph paper, circuit paths, or annotations in a margin nobody will check. They're pattern-based work that doesn't explain itself. Digitally designed in our Napa studio.
