Thirty years of design and fine arts experience. One studio in Napa. A ruthless eye for what actually works on a wall — and what doesn't.
We create abstract prints inspired by Northern California — the industrial textures, coastal fog, and native flora we see daily in Napa Valley. Not wine country lifestyle branding. The actual working landscape.
Digitally designed using modern tools (including AI-assisted software) in our Napa studio. We keep roughly 1-2% of what we create, then spend hours refining each piece — hand repainting, color correction, upscaling, technical cleanup.
The work either captures something real or it doesn't. You'll know when you see it.
Galleries mark up 200-400% to cover rent and commissions. A $500 gallery piece costs about $125 to produce.
We skip the markup. Digital creation + print-on-demand + direct sales = $75–$225 instead of $500–$2,000 for the same archival materials.
Healthy margins, zero bullshit. No fake sales. No artificial scarcity.

Merritt Lane isn't a platform hosting thousands of artists from around the world. There's no algorithm surfacing trending pieces. No submissions. No curation committee.
This is one studio. One point of view. Everything here was made here — designed, curated, and rejected or kept by the same eye, every time.
We work digitally because it's honest about what the medium is. Music is recorded. Film is edited. Design has always lived on screens. The tools evolve and the work evolves with them. We use digital tools — including AI-assisted software for iteration and refinement — because they let us explore in hours what physical media would take lifetimes to realize. Every concept tested. Every direction pushed. Then 98% of it discarded.
What survives that process isn't AI output. It's the result of 30 years knowing what to keep.
We know this isn't for everyone. Art never is. But if you can look at something and just know you like it — without needing a thesis, a pedigree, or someone's permission — you're exactly who we made this for.
