Abstract wall art driven by a bold diagonal — a warm amber and mustard wedge cutting from upper-left to lower-center, flanked by near-black and deep burgundy on one side, blush and pale sage on the other. The upper field is a quiet yellow-green; the lower half breaks into scattered white, blush, and olive. More kinetic energy than anything else in the collection. Works well in a living room or dining room where the wall can handle something with directional momentum. Natural wood frame reinforces the warm amber core without fighting the cooler tones around it.

Field Notes

Part of the Valley Light Studies — atmospheric abstraction rooted in Northern California's terrain and light conditions. This piece reads like exposed hillside geology: a warm mineral seam cutting through darker, cooler ground, the kind of color contrast that appears in eroded cuts along Highway 29 or in the volcanic hillsides above the Napa Valley floor. The blush and white fields flanking the diagonal are the softer, sedimentary layers — less resistant, giving way.

The strong diagonal gives this one a different energy than the rest of the collection — it moves, where most Valley Light works settle. Works well as a focal point in a living room or alongside quieter pieces in a gallery wall arrangement. Framed and ready to hang.
