Field Notes

From the Valley Light Studies — atmospheric abstraction rooted in Northern California's agricultural valleys. This piece has a distinctly aerial quality: color patches that read like field plots, irrigation blocks, and crop rows mapped from a distance. The mustard and dark olive suggest late-season terrain; the slate and gray read like dry soil or winter fallow. The magenta interrupts all of it in a way that feels earned, not decorative.

A versatile piece for gallery wall building — the neutral cream field gives neighboring prints room to breathe. The vertical format also works well for tighter wall spaces. Affordable abstract art, ships unframed on archival paper.
