Geometric abstract wall art in cream, sage, olive, slate, and a sharp magenta stripe — color blocks arranged loosely like an aerial view of agricultural land, with the large cream field anchoring the right side and a dense cluster of earthier tones holding the left. The magenta and mauve accents stop it from reading as purely quiet. Works well in a living room, dining room, or hallway where the vertical format has room to register. Natural wood frame picks up the warm mustard and olive tones without competing.

Field Notes

Part of the Valley Light Studies — a series built around the color and atmosphere of Northern California's agricultural terrain. This piece pulls back further than most, into the territory where vineyards, cover crops, and fallow ground start to read as abstract color blocks rather than landscape. The sage and slate patches on the left suggest irrigated fields. The magenta stripe — too clean to be accidental — is the kind of color that appears when a row crop blooms, or when light hits the wrong material at the right angle.

The vertical format makes this one useful where a square or horizontal piece wouldn't land. Works well on a narrow wall, in a hallway, or as a taller element in a gallery arrangement. Framed and ready to hang.
