From The Contour Studies — a collection of bold graphic abstracts with the directness of relief printing. This is the series at maximum volume. The black and rust forms press against each other and push to the edges, leaving just enough cream to keep the shapes readable. It's a square composition, which gives it a different presence on a wall than the vertical pieces in the collection — more grounded, more confrontational.
