Tall vertical coastal art print with a wide open mint and pale blue atmosphere, two small bird marks in the upper field, a diffuse white-cream bloom at center, and a deep burgundy and near-black mass with amber detail in the lower left — pale sage and cream settling across the bottom. The birds are easy to miss at first and worth finding. Ships unframed on archival paper — the open, airy composition works well with a simple white or light natural wood frame. A good fit for a bedroom, hallway, or reading space that wants something calm with one specific, quiet surprise.

Field Notes

From The Coastal Light Studies — fifteen pieces working through the color and atmosphere of the Northern California coast. This one is about the moment before full clearing: fog thinning enough for birds to become visible overhead, the lower dark mass not yet resolved, warm amber light appearing at the edge of the shadow zone before the atmosphere fully opens.

The only piece in the Coastal Light series with a figurative element — two bird marks in the upper field, specific and understated. A good affordable coastal art print for spaces that want something genuinely considered rather than decorative. Printed on the same archival stock as our framed editions.
