Abstract landscape wall art built around two competing fields — a broad, pale cream-yellow expanse holding most of the upper canvas, with a bold cerulean and navy blue mass breaking in from the upper right. Below a white horizontal light stroke, the lower half opens into active olive, chartreuse, and yellow-green terrain bands. Small mauve accents at the lower corners keep it from reading as purely cool. The collection's most explicitly sky-and-ground piece. Works well in a living room, bedroom, or any space with natural light where the blue and green palette can respond to the room. White frame extends the pale upper field naturally.

Field Notes

Part of the Valley Light Studies — atmospheric abstraction rooted in Northern California's agricultural valleys. This piece is about fog clearing — the specific interval when the marine layer that sits over the Carneros and southern Napa Valley from the night before finally burns off and blue sky pushes through. The cream field is that transitional moment: not quite fog, not quite clear. The olive and chartreuse below are the valley floor in full late-morning color once the light reaches it.

A strong closer for the collection — where most Valley Light works sit in atmospheric ambiguity, this one moves toward clarity. Works well alongside the collection's softer, greener pieces or as a standalone in a room with cool blue or green accents. Framed and ready to hang.
