Abstract landscape wall art with an unusually active center — a dense cluster of rust, burgundy, orange, teal, mustard, and olive packed into the left-center, surrounded by an expansive mint sky above and soft blush-pink fields below. The contrast between that concentrated burst and the quiet fields around it is what drives the piece. Field Notes

Part of the Valley Light Studies — atmospheric abstraction rooted in the agricultural terrain of Northern California. This one captures something specific to the Napa and Sonoma valleys in early spring: concentrated wildflower and mustard growth in irregular hillside pockets, surrounded by pale, fog-softened grass. The mint field above reads as cool morning sky; the blush below as dry ground still holding winter color. The cluster at center is where everything is happening at once — and then it stops.

The portrait format and relatively contained palette make this one easy to place — it doesn't need a large wall to register. Works on a gallery wall or alone in a smaller room. Framed and ready to hang.
