Part of the Valley Light Studies — work built around the color and atmosphere of Northern California's agricultural valleys in the early hours. The green masses here read like vineyard blocks or cover crops flanking a fog-brightened valley floor. That warm cream and yellow at the center is low-angle morning light — diffuse, ground-level, the kind that only lasts about 20 minutes before the day takes over.
