A large cream interior void outlined in thick black, with a rich chocolate brown base curving up from the bottom and wrapping the right side — the wood-grain texture in the brown is visible and deliberate. A small terracotta form anchors the lower left outside the main outline. Warm minimalist wall art that gives a lot of visual return for a very spare composition. Works well in a living room, bedroom, or reading nook where one well-placed piece is enough. Natural wood frame mirrors the grain texture in the brown mass directly — frame and artwork referencing the same material.

Field Notes

Part of Terra Forms — and a clear bookend to No. 01. Where that piece presents the exterior silhouette of a vessel, No. 10 turns it inside out: the cream void becomes the subject, the dark form is what surrounds and defines it. Both pieces are built on the same logic — one form, one line, negative space doing as much work as positive. The visible scored texture in the brown section references the tool marks left on thrown pottery, or the wood-fired surfaces of unglazed stoneware from Northern California's craft studios.

Pairs directly with No. 01 as a two-piece set — exterior and interior, dark and light, same formal logic from opposite directions. Works on its own for Japandi or warm minimalist interiors where restraint is the point. Framed and ready to hang.
