A large cream vessel with an angular handle-like protrusion on the upper left, outlined throughout in burnt orange, sitting against a split ground of off-white above and warm rust below. The orange outline is the detail that makes this one distinctive — it's not a neutral line, it's a color choice that ties the form to the ground. Modern ceramic wall art that works well in a living room or kitchen where warm neutrals are already in play. Field Notes

Part of Terra Forms — a series rooted in the vessel shapes and material surfaces of Northern California's ceramic tradition. Handled jugs, pitchers, the functional pottery that shows up in working kitchens and agricultural settings throughout the region. No. 07 is one of the more literal vessel references in the collection — the handle is recognizable, the form sits on a surface, the ground reads like a tabletop or shelf edge. Still abstract, but grounded in object memory.
