Two terracotta forms — one smaller and darker, one larger and warmer — outlined in white against a chalky off-white ground. The contrast between the two rust tones gives the composition movement without complexity. Warm abstract wall art that holds up well in a living room, dining room, or any space running in earthy neutrals. Natural wood frame continues the warm palette all the way to the edge without adding another color to manage.

Field Notes

Part of Terra Forms — a series built around the shapes and surfaces of hand-thrown ceramic work from Northern California's craft tradition. Pottery studios, earthenware vessels, the color variation you get when the same clay body fires differently depending on position in the kiln. No. 02 captures that tonal shift: same material family, two distinct results sitting in close proximity.

Works well alongside No. 01 or No. 03 for a focused gallery wall within the collection, or on its own as a warm color anchor in a neutral space. A good fit for interiors with wood furniture, aged leather, or linen textiles. Framed and ready to hang.
