Field Notes

From Maritime Forms — the series takes its shapes and palette from the Northern California coast, and this piece specifically from the texture of objects that live outside in salt air. Rope-worn surfaces, oxidized hardware, paint that's been through a few winters. That's where the orange and the fine internal line work come from.

A good entry point into the series if you want something with more warmth and density than most abstract coastal art. Pairs naturally with earthy, terracotta-forward interiors — affordable abstract art that reads more complex the longer you look at it.
