Field Notes

From The Friction Series — inspired by the patterns left when industrial materials meet sustained force across Northern California's built landscape. Patched concrete, reinforced steel, surfaces that carry the record of every repair and every new round of wear. Each piece in the series captures a different moment in that slow collision between structure and environment.

The most texture-forward piece in the series — best suited for someone who wants their art to do some work on the wall. Same archival paper as our framed editions. A good affordable abstract poster for a home office, creative studio, or industrial-style space where visual complexity is the point.

Same 250gsm archival matte paper used in our framed editions. Natural white, uncoated, acid-free surface rated to resist yellowing over time. Archival pigment inks rated for 100+ years of color stability. Ships flat or in a protective tube depending on size.

Printed to order using FSC-certified materials. No warehoused inventory, no overproduction. We print exactly what gets ordered.

Care & Display

We recommend framing under glass or plexiglass for long-term display. Until framed, store flat and away from direct sunlight and moisture. Not recommended for unframed display in bathrooms or outdoor areas.
