Field Notes

From The Contour Studies — a collection of bold graphic abstracts with the directness of relief printing. This is the collection's warmest and most inviting piece. The ochre and cream palette reads less like high-contrast abstraction and more like sunlit pottery — golden hillside tones and fired clay, stacked with purpose. The brushwork visible across the forms gives it a handmade quality the darker pieces in the series don't aim for.

A good closing piece if you're collecting the full Contour Studies, or a strong standalone if you just want something warm on the wall. Printed on the same archival paper as the framed editions.
