Field Notes

From The Coastal Light Studies — fifteen pieces exploring the color conditions of the Northern California coast. This one is about the cliff-to-cove transition: sedimentary bluffs built up in warm horizontal strata, giving way to the calm, sheltered water that forms in their shadow. The kind of coastal geography that's specific to the stretch of coast between Point Reyes and Bodega Bay.

A good option if you want something with clear compositional structure and warmth without going fully earthy or abstract. Same archival print stock as our framed editions, at a lower entry point. Works as an affordable coastal art print for apartments, reading spaces, or anywhere the wall needs a sense of place.
