A flat teal rectangle sits inside a warm wheat border on a cream field — three nested planes, hard edges, nothing else. The composition works through containment: the inner field holds its color completely, the border gives it room. Suits a bedroom, reading room, or any space where one deliberate object is enough. White frame extends the cream field and keeps the layering clean.

Field Notes

The Clarity Series treats color as structure — using geometric form and a tight palette of teal, ochre, cream, and sage to build works that are organized rather than decorated. The Container is the most reduced piece in the series: one shape, two borders, no internal variation. The warm wheat layer between teal and cream does more work than it looks like — without it, the piece would be colder and flatter.
