This is the collection's turning point — the piece where the landscape becomes legible and the red mark becomes specific. A grey hillside rises diagonally across the composition, brushwork texture visible in the pale cream sky above, and a single red line traces the ridge crest from lower left to upper right where dark silhouetted forms sit against the horizon. It's the most figurative piece in the series and it earns its position at the center of the arc, the moment where atmospheric tension becomes something you can point to on a map.
